Shanghai Park Hotel

Although the hotel's location is fantastic, the internet connection is laggy.

Lobby staff was very friendly and helpful. Elegant old place with very good rate on booking dot com. Location excellent for all museums in People's Square. Gongdelin vegetarian restaurant also just 3 blocks west.

Very good hotel, perfectly situated in the centre of Shanghai. We were very well treated and helped from the nice servicestaff on eight floor 👍. Thank you 卜祥珍 for all your help. We recommend this hotell much.

A grand historical experience

The charming lobby immerses you in a bygone era, while being just steps away from vibrant People's Square. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Breakfast was a mixed bag with limited seating and some lackluster Western options.

Nothing to complain about, the venue met needs well, can't recommend it highly enough it. People's Square metro station was 5 min away.

Staying at this hotel was a delight as it's just a short walk to People's Square and a few steps to the Shanghai Museum. The staff were also very helpful and courteous .

Great hotel and marvellous and favourable location in a historical landmark. Very comfy bed, clean bathroom and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating, and a personal safe in the room. Magnificent view of city from the window. Location very close to the Shanghai History Museum, Shanghai for both Business or pleasure, solo or Family and many super markets, pharmacies, shops and malls. Nearby Kamii Sushi Bar - great place to chill out. Nice overall experience.

The staff are amiable and excellent co-operating and offer bus tickets service, tour assistance, and wake up calls free of charge. Make sure you stay in the superior double room with park view.

We faced significant issues . The air conditioning in our room was not functioning. Breakfast was disappointing, with cold and undercooked food. The front desk staff was unhelpful and at times rude.

The location here is 👌! It's right at People's Square and super close to the Bund! Room was a bit small but cozy. The breakfast had great variety. Just wish the wifi was faster.

Excellent location for Peoples Park Metro, nice old hotel with charm and friendly staff.

Staff did not understand english and it did present some problems with directions.

The classic European style of the lobby and dining areas transports you back to the elegance of the 1930s.

Unfortunately, I experienced issues with local currency exchange. The hotel does not offer this service, inconvenient.
